ABOUT NANOVAX
Engineering the Future of Cancer Immunotherapy
At NanoVax, we are developing innovative nanoparticle-based technologies designed to unlock the full potential of the immune system to fight cancer.

01 / WHO WE ARE
Redefining What’s Possible in Cancer Immunotherapy
Despite decades of progress in cancer immunotherapy, many patients with solid tumors still fail to benefit from existing treatments. A major challenge is the inability to generate robust, tumor-specific immune responses and direct those responses effectively into the tumor microenvironment.
Headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts, NanoVax Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing a new generation of nanoparticle-based immunotherapies designed to overcome these challenges. Our approach combines advanced nanotechnology with fundamental immunological principles to coordinate immune activation across different tissues and stages of the antitumor response.
Founded on research originating at the University of Massachusetts, NanoVax is translating innovative academic discoveries into therapeutic technologies with the potential to improve outcomes for patients with cancer.
02 / OUR MISSION
To engineer transformative immunotherapies that harness the body’s own immune system to overcome the challenges of treating cancer.
03 / OUR APPROACH
A Different Approach to Cancer Immunotherapy
01
Engineered Nanotechnology
Developing versatile nanoparticle platforms capable of coordinating the delivery of multiple immunological signals.
02
Coordinated Immune Activation
Leveraging complementary innate immune pathways to generate robust, tumor-specific adaptive immune responses.
03
Precision Immune Trafficking
Engineering strategies that promote the movement of activated immune cells toward tumors, addressing a major barrier in solid tumor immunotherapy.
05 / OUR ORIGINS
From Academic Discovery to Therapeutic Innovation
NanoVax was founded to translate innovative academic research in nanotechnology and cancer immunology into meaningful therapeutic advances. Originating from research at the University of Massachusetts, our technology is built on years of scientific investigation into how nanoparticle engineering can reshape antitumor immunity.
We are driven by the belief that the next generation of cancer immunotherapies will require more than simply activating the immune system. They will require intelligently engineered approaches that coordinate where, when, and how immune responses develop.
